Water just makes everything more FUN!

My brother's kids Andrew and Ellianne enjoy our hot tub with Joshua and Joey. Joshua did so well at swim lessons this summer, even though either Matt or I had to be in the water with him.

Caleb really did well at his swim lessons too. He's starting to learn all the strokes and now wants to be put on a competitive swimming team. Go figure.

I watched my sister's girls Lauryn and Lesley the other day and we got to go to the APEX which is a 23,000 sq ft indoor water park. FUN! The kids, and Matt and I, had a great time. We went in the morning, took Joey home for a nap, and went back in the afternoon.

I can't get over Joey's face in this picture. It basically shows his personality perfectly.

Newsflash: Joey says about less than 10 words, but has already used the potty about 10 times as well. He's a 20 month old boy, let's just say I did not see that coming. I will not however be pushing the potty training as I am about 2 weeks from having a newborn. I think that might be just a little too much for me to handle.

We haven't had hardly any rain this entire summer. But, it tried to make up for it in one night the other night. The boys were so excited they had to get their umbrellas and go play in it.

Does it get much cuter?

36 weeks and counting!!

Joey came just before 38 weeks, so hopefully Crush will do the same. If so, we could be down to less than 2 weeks from meeting our FOURTH SON!! WOW!

Lauryn and Caleb are quite the pair. They are both so competitive. It is tons of fun to see them try and succeed at new things...such as surfing behind the boat and water skiing.

Here is a picture of Joshua using Caleb as a pillow on our drive up from Highlands Ranch to the new house after a night of baseball and smores at our friends' house. Good times!

Daddy and Joey on the boat. We moved to our new house July 5th and that following weekend we left for four days to go boating. We are slightly crazy...but it was a great time, even 8 months pregnant.

Two cute stories about our Joshua!

The other day Joshua was running around the house as usual and came in to find me and tell me to put my hand on his heart. It was beating very fast and hard and he said "do you feel that?" I said yes...it's beating fast. He asked "Is that Jesus?" SO DARLING!! That's what they think when we tell them Jesus is in their heart : )
Second cute story about Joshua involves Caleb losing his upper tooth the other night. Caleb was discussing how much money he thought the tooth fairy was going to leave him under his pillow when Joshua got very anxious. "She won't come to my bed will she? What does she yook yike? What is her hair yike? Mom, I don't want her in here. I think I will sleep in your room." So...Joshua slept in mommy and daddy's bed since he and Caleb share a room and he DID NOT want the tooth fairy coming in on him when he was asleep. I woke him up around midnight to take him to his room and he asked "did she yeave yet?" The kid better be 10-12 before he loses a tooth : )

Our Joshie Turned 4!

Our Joshie has grown in to such a BIG boy! He turned 4 yesterday and we had a HUGE party for him at our house. He was a very gracious gift recipient and LOVED all his gifts. I think his love language may be gifts which will be interesting since it's last for both Matt and me. He now leaves his blanket in his room which is a very big step for this "blanket boy" of our's. He disappeared today and I went up to his room to see him laying on his bed with his blanket and sucking his thumb and he said "I just need to hang out with my blanket". SO CUTE!! Five minutes later he was asleep : ) Here are a few pictures of his party...these may be the last pics for a while since we move in less than two weeks...
